Therese Davis

Therese Davis, Executive Director and Pianist, has performed with the Louisville Chrous as PIanist since 1969 and has served as Executive Director since 1981.

 

She earned  a Bachelor of Music degree from Jacksonville University (Florida), where she was a student piano instructor, pianist for numerous artists, a member of the Mu Phi Epsilon International Music Fraternity, and a member of the Green Key Honorary Leadership Society. She also performed as solo recitalist and pianist for several Franklin, NC, Fine Arts Festival performers; has coached in chamber music with Walter Trampler, Bernard Greenhouse, and Joseph Silverstein; and participated in piano master classes with concert pianist Leonid Hambro.

 

She received a Master of Music degree from the University of Louisville, where she continued as pianist and teacher while studying with Lee Luvisi. Therese was rehearsal pianist for the Louisville Ballet, Kentucky Opera, and choral masterworks performances of The Louisville Orchestra, as well as a piano instructor. Ms. Davis is in demand as pianist for area functions, music agencies, choral education entities, and performing artists.
